Co-channel 4? mesh 3units give 3 named 3 unnamed

using only ac wifi i see 6 channels on 40 and 2 channels on 44
why only 4 co-channel?
why in stable situation wifi not stable? sleeping hours working hours busy hours all reports regular weak signal
