Chanalyzer 5 and 6 on same Laptop

Hello everybody,
I amcurious if there is a way to have both, Chanalyzer 5 and 6 on my Laptop? Chanalyzer 5 would be great if I need to use my Device Finder together with the Wi-Spy DBx. For the rest of the capture I am using Chanalyzer 6.
Any suggestions how this can be accomplished?

Hello @jladen,

It’s possible and simple to used Chanalyzer 5 with Wi-Spy DBX and Chanalyzer for Capture.on the same laptop :

  1. Plug Wi-Spy DBX and Capture Wifi device
  2. Open Chanalyzer 5
  3. Open Chanalyzer 6

Hello again:
@Digtheweb: sorry for not being clear enough on my side. My actual problem is, that I have Chnalyzer 6 installed on my Laptop. When I now try to install Chanalyzer 5 it won’t install. I only get the option to repair or remove the existing installation. How can I install Chanalyzer 5 without removing Chanalyzer 6?

Hello everybody,
Ok, my bad, I had an older Chanalyzer 5 version installed and that was the message was about. Problem is now solved, Chanalyzer 5 and 6 are running on the Laptop.
