I have a Wi-Spy DBx from more than 5 years ago. Is there a reason for me upgrade?

If you are happy using a laptop to view spectrum, I would hold on to the older DBx. This is still pretty much the same specs as the current DBx that we sell.

If you’d prefer to use a mobile device for troubleshooting such as an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, then I would recommend upgrading to Wi-Spy Air. The spectrum capabilities of Wi-Spy Air are pretty much on par with the DBx, the main difference is that the Wi-Spy Air has a WiFi and packet capture adapter built-in to circumvent the WiFi scanning API restrictions put in place by Apple and Google on their mobile devices.
