inSSIDer for macOS has always lagged behind the Windows version. Now that inSSIDer for Windows has Network Snapshots and is WiFi 6 aware, is it time for us to give inSSIDer for macOS the love it deserves?

macOS support may be the deciding factor for many mixed platform teams. More than half of our team is on Macs. Everyone I’ve shown inSSIDer5 to is impress but no single tool could convince anyone to switch platforms or even carry a Windows laptop. I can understand, I’ve spurned their sacred WiFi Explorer. The bottom line is that, for many teams, Windows only OR Mac only support means the tool can’t be used across the entire team and the value of the expense can’t be fully realized.

Well, good news! Even though our IndieGoGo campaign didn’t tip and even though Paul Reimer is alone on an island spurning WiFi Explorer (thanks for your support, Paul!) we decided to update inSSIDer for Mac ANYWAY!
