I could definitely get behind office cubicle walls made of this stuff (pun not intended, I swear!), I’m not sure about putting it in my game room, though.
The current design leaves a lot to be desired from a consumer standpoint, and it definitely is an intriguing method for improving communication with tiny devices; I could see this concept eventually being used in a real product.
