I am analysing traces with chanalyzer6 to measure the airtime of the clients, retries, and more.
It came to my notice, that the client Tx rate was always shown as 1MBit/s while the Rx rate matches the access point rates.
Looking up this section of the PCAP in Wireshark indicates a different value of the rate.
Whom can I trust now? Chanalyzer or Wireshark?

Yeah, thats isnt good. Thankfully you have provable data with your wireshark results. Thanks for sharing that, have to see what they say about this. But id trust Wireshark for the data-rate, that side of things has zero bugs for sure. id say something isnt right in Chanalyzer 6…
Wow… THREE days, and not a peep out of MetaGeek staff on this legitimate and concerning question! Not good.
I’m guessing you never got an answer, as not a single person including Metageek staff replied here. Thats pretty shameful… they keep switching the way licenses work, but dont reply to questions… thats how most companies end up going down the drain…
Hi
I am not seeing the same issue with my C6 captures.
Maybe check that C6 is running the latest version? I’m running 6.1.1.1
