It’s actually worse than I thought - it’s not the WiFi. I tried plugging the machine directly into the router through its ethernet port and it’s just as slow. I’ve logged a call with Lenovo as it is still under warranty but do you have any thoughts?

Ah, it definitely sounds like an issue with the machine then, assuming your Ethernet cable is functional and relatively new. Once it’s out of the realm of WiFi my expertise starts to run out. Best of luck!
Ok I have Omada Omanda OC 300, 3 EAP-225 Outdoor, 2 EAP 245, Mine says mine is Mismatched with not all same VHT Capabilities and not all same Extended Capabilities. Does anyone know what this means and how to correct it?

This message can usually be ignored. It simply means that the hardware and WiFi radio specs in your EAP225 and EAP245 aren’t the same. Specifically it looks like the 245 supports another spatial stream. It usually does not affect performance for home networks too much!
Ryan,
What can I use from Meta Geek to troubleshoot a Netgear NightHawk RAX70 router that for some reason will not put out more than 100+ - Mbps. Have spent hours with Netgear’s 2nd level tech in the Phillipines to no effect. Their 2nd level techs and next level is Engineers do not have smart phone capability for customer to take pictures of the dozens of things the Engineers want.
I’ve tried channel 1, 6, and 11 to no help. Have about -30 strength.
Have you run into anyone with a similar bandwidth problem with Netgear NightHawk RAX70 or other in the RAX series of Netgear routers.
The router is getting between 390 to 400Mbps from Spectrum’s cable modem.

There is a thruput setting on the port that regulates how much a router outputs. Look for this in your web interface.
You also have to account for some loss based on length of the cable run from the modem to router. Also check the cable you are using, that yellow cat5e they send could be your issue find you a cat 6/6a jumper.
