Is there a way to continuously log data so it can be later analyzed?
My network issue is periodic and if I’m not at my desk when it happens, I usually won’t know until one of my kids tell me.

In terms of current MetaGeek products, your best best would be up to 24 hour monitoring with Chanalyzer + Wi-Spy here which will allow you to record and playback spectrum and WiFi for up 24 hours. We hope to include better notifications and monitoring in Rampart Home and inSSIDer, but they currently aren’t quite as up-to-the-task as Chanalyzer.
Otherwise, other options would require more sophisticated / enterprise APs which include that functionality built-in to their dashboard, such as Extreme Networks’ (formerly Aerohive) HiveManager dashboard, or Cisco. I also believe Ubiquiti and Eero have similar functionality in their dashboards.
