Hi user26.

Sorry to hear about the trouble! I’m not entirely sure what’s happening here. Do you happen to be running a VPN, or any sort of anti-virus or anti-malware software that may be restricting inSSIDer’s access to our licensing servers?

Hi!
I’m not running any VPN or anti-malware software

Well, I am not entirely sure what is the cause of the problem.
Even if I am connected to the internet via Wifi or Ethernet,
the program will complain that Network is not reachable
no matter what.

I am not a programmer nor a developer, just a computer tech guy
trying to fix this issue for a few hours on my own. So if this solution
does not help you in anyway, please don’t blame me. :slightly_smiling_face:
Take my solution as a grin of salt. But in my case, the solution worked.

I thought it was Sophos home antivirus clouded base program was
the cause of the problem. But it was not. Uninstalled it does not help.

All I know is when sign in the credentials, like keying
the email address & password, a file called update.exe will launch
and from you PC or laptop to my.metageek.com, if somehow your
firewall blocks it, then you have this problem. So you have to allow
this program to communicate (outbound).

Good luck.
