I have a new Wifi Access Point that can do Wifi 6E (6GHz). My ThinkPad P16s has a Wifi 6E capable Wifi adapter.
However inSSIDer is not showing any Wifi 6E connections on the network, just ax.
How can I see whether my ThinkPad is actually connected to the access point using 6Ghz?
inSSIDer does not support 6 GHz.
Hello,
As per my knowledge, to check if your ThinkPad is connected on the 6GHz band, go into your network settings and look at the connection properties. It should list the frequency band (6GHz) and Wi-Fi standard (Wi-Fi 6E). Alternatively, you can use a Wi-Fi analyzer app that supports 6GHz to verify the connection.
I hope this will help you.
